Use a slogan generator to explore lines that fit your brand

A slogan generator gives you a range of short lines to react to, which is often easier than starting from a blank page. Describe your brand in the text box: what you sell, who it is for, the feeling you want people to have, and any words to include or avoid. The AI suggests options built from that brief. Treat them as raw material. The strongest slogans usually come from picking one promising idea, tightening the wording and checking that nobody else already uses it.

01

Write a useful brief

A slogan has very few words to work with, so the brief carries most of the weight. A handful of precise details gives the AI something real to compress into a line, instead of stock phrases.

  • The brand name and what it does, in one sentence.
  • The audience and the main reason they choose you.
  • The mood you want: playful, calm, confident or plain.
  • Words, rhymes or claims to avoid, and roughly how many ideas you want.
02

Illustrative example

Brief: “Neighborhood bakery called Rise & Crumb. Sourdough baked before 7 a.m. daily. Regulars are commuters. Warm, a little playful. Under six words.” Possible lines: “Up before you are,” “Fresh by the first train,” “Your morning, already baked.” These are invented to show the format, not recorded tool output, and each would still need checking.

03

What a strong slogan does

Good slogans tend to share a few traits, whatever the industry. Use them as a checklist to judge the list, rather than keeping whichever line sounds clever on a first read.

  • Short enough to say in one breath.
  • Points to one benefit or feeling, not a list.
  • Sounds like your brand, not a generic ad.
  • Stays true: no promise you cannot keep.
04

Narrow the list

Pick three to five lines you like, then read each aloud and imagine it under your logo, on a storefront sign and at the top of your homepage. Show the shortlist to a few people in your audience without explaining it. If they need context to understand a line, it may be too clever. Ask the tool to rework a favorite rather than starting over.

05

Where a slogan earns its place

Unlike a headline written for one page, a slogan is often reused for years and across many surfaces. Picture the places it will appear before you commit, because a line that works on a billboard may feel odd in an email signature.

  • Packaging and product labels.
  • The homepage headline or social profile line.
  • Campaign materials, where a tagline may change while the slogan stays.
  • Business cards, receipts and printed menus.
06

Before you adopt one

The tool does not run trademark or similarity checks. Search the line online and in the trademark records for the countries where you trade, and look at what competitors already use. A slogan close to a well-known one can confuse customers or cause legal trouble, so get advice if the line will be central to your brand.

Slogan Generator FAQ

What is the difference between a slogan and a tagline?

People often use the terms interchangeably. When they are separated, a tagline is usually the lasting line tied to the brand identity, while a slogan may belong to a single campaign or product and change over time. The tool can draft either; say which one you need in your brief.

How many slogan ideas will I get?

There is no count setting. Write the number you want in your brief, such as “ten options under five words,” and the AI will aim for it. A shorter, more varied list is often easier to judge than dozens of near-duplicates.

Can I change the tone of the slogans?

Yes, by describing it. There is no tone picker, so write the mood into your brief, for example “dry humor, no puns” or “calm and trustworthy.” If the first round misses, explain what felt wrong and ask for another set rather than repeating the same brief.

Can I get slogans in another language?

Choose English, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, French or German as the output language, or keep the language of your brief. Wordplay rarely survives translation, so it usually works better to generate directly in the target language and have a native speaker check rhythm and meaning.

Can I use a generated slogan for my business?

The tool does not check whether a line is already in use or protected, so that step is yours. Before printing it, search for existing use and look through trademark records in your markets. If you plan to register the slogan, a trademark professional can advise on the risk.

Why do some suggestions sound generic?

Generic briefs produce generic lines. If results could fit any company, add something only you can say: a place, a habit your customers share, a specific promise you keep. Also tell the AI which overused words to skip, such as “quality” or “solutions.”

Do I have to sign in?

Yes. Each request needs sign-in and draws on the words included in a paid plan. You can write out your brand brief first and sign in when you are ready to generate.
