You have a draft written with AI, and Copyleaks flags it. Here is how to rewrite it so it reads like you, then check it.
Copyleaks describes its AI text detector as a tool for finding AI-written content, even when it is blended with human writing. Copyleaks offers a sensitivity setting built to flag humanized and spun text, and it says it finds AI content even when blended with human writing. Its own figures show that setting also has its highest false positive rate, 0.66%.
RewriteMax rewrites how the whole text is written, its rhythm, structure and phrasing, instead of swapping single words, and leaves the decisions about meaning with you.
Copyleaks says its “Extra Sensitive” setting was designed to flag AI text that was put through a humanizer or text spinner.

A flag from Copyleaks can cost you time and credibility, even when the writing is yours.
Detectors misread human writing too; a 2023 study found seven detectors flagged non-native English essays as AI 61% of the time on average.

Copyleaks is an AI content and plagiarism detector run by Copyleaks Inc. in New York. It also detects AI images and video, and it says it is “not here to help you bypass AI detection.”
Copyleaks says it identifies paraphrasing within AI-generated text and that its Extra Sensitive setting targets humanizer and spinner output. It also says Grammarly's AI rewriting features may trigger detection. We have not tested Copyleaks ourselves.
Copyleaks claims over 99% accuracy, but its pages give two false positive figures: 0.03% on the detector page, and 0.16–0.66% for model V11 depending on sensitivity on its methodology page. The V11 figures come from Copyleaks' own internal testing.
You can scan up to 25,000 characters without logging in, and a free account adds more monthly credits. Paid plans start at $16.99 a month for Personal, or $13.99 a month billed annually.
It should read more naturally, not less. Any automated rewrite can change wording or details, so compare it with your draft before you use it.
Essays, articles, blog posts, emails, reports and social posts each have a purpose setting, with six styles from academic to persuasive.
